... First Presbyterian Church of Shreveport welcomed new minister Dr. Will Scott Aug. 21 with a 'Will's First Sunday Welcome Potluck Reception.' His family, the Rev. Katie Scott, and their three children, regretted because they had colds they didn't want to share with the congregation, explained Scott, whose first sermon was 'Resting on a Sunday.' The family came to Shreveport from First Presbyterian Church, Dalton, Ga.
