Drab lockers get new life as works of art at Airline High

“We wanted to keep famous painters, and so they went with Van Gogh, so we went with (Claude) Monet,” said student Amoryah Smith. “We incorporated two of Monet’s paintings. One of them is ‘The Poppy Fields’ and the other is ‘The Woman in the Parasol.’ Rather than combing the two pictures, we took one of his paintings and incorporated the woman into it.
