Boil advisory lifted for Dogwood

 The Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1, Parish of Bossier, experienced problems with their water system, caused by loss of electrical power June 24, caused a loss of pressure for Dogwood Subdivision, with the exception of Units 13-16 in Dogwood South Subdivision.  Because of this problem the water produced by the water supply system was questionable for  microbiological quality.

Therefore, as a precaution, the Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1, Parish of Bossier, issued a boil advisory .  

The Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1, Parish of Bossier, Water System rescinded the boil advisory on Wednesday. As of 10: 30 a.m., the advisory had been lifted. 

Sammy Halphen, Director of Public Safety with Bossier Parish stated that they had received notification form the Louisiana Dept. of Health and Hospitals 0 Office of Public Health that the samples submitted on June 25, were clear and the advisory could be lifted.
