Police seek missing man

PRESS RELEASE

Shreveport police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man who has not been seen or heard from since Saturday afternoon.

Police say that 50-year-old Elbert Knox of the 2600 block of Circle Drive, was last seen Saturday afternoon walking down Kemp Lane.

Knox is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds.

He was last seen wearing dark blue athletic shorts, a blue shirt with white stripes and black shoes.

Knox also has a scar over his left eyebrow.

Authorities are concerned for the welfare of Knox, who suffers medical issues that require medication.

Anyone with any information regarding the missing man’s whereabouts is urged to call authorities at 673-7300 or 510- 3162.
