Police seek robber of convenience store
Shreveport Police Department
Shreveport police detectives have released video surveillance images of a man suspected of robbing a convenience store last month in north Shreveport.
Back on June 11, Shreveport police responded to the Shell gas station in the 1900 block of North Market Street in north Shreveport.
When officers arrived, information was gathered that a black male suspect standing approximately 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds entered the business wearing a scarf covering his face.
When the store clerk told him to remove the scarf, the suspect reportedly produced a handgun and demanded that the clerk hand over the money.
Fearing for her safety, the clerk did as she was ordered.
The suspect then fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Shreveport police robbery detectives are hopeful that pictures of the suspect could help lead to his identity and apprehension.
