Bossier Sheriff Whittington promotes deputy

Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington promoted Sgt. James Toloso to the rank of lieutenant in a ceremony Aug. 19. Lt. Toloso, employed with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office since June 2004, will serve as the assistant warden at the Bossier Maximum Security Facility. He previously served in classification at the jail facility.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, at least 21 years of age, earned a high school diploma or GED, and pass a physical, background and other required tests.
