Three suspects arrested following robbery of individual
Three men were arrested in south east Shreveport Monday evening following an alleged robbery of an individual.
Just after 10:30 p.m. on September 2, 2013, Shreveport Police officers responded to the 1600 block of East Bert Kouns Industrial Loop relative to a robbery of an individual. Upon officer’s arrival at the scene, information was received that an adult male sustained injury following a physical assault and subsequent robbery. The male victim, who suffered non- life threatening injuries, was treated and later released from a local hospital. Authorities learned moments earlier; the victim was reportedly robbed of his wallet and a small amount of cash at the hands of three suspects seen fleeing the scene of the crime on foot. Responding patrol officers were provided descriptions of the suspects as well as their last known direction of travel.
Within minutes of obtaining suspect information, officers located and apprehended one of the alleged offenders following a brief foot chase. The two remaining suspects were subsequently captured moments later at a nearby apartment complex. Shreveport Police Robbery investigators responded to the scene and immediately launched an investigation into the matter. Authority’s preliminary investigation uncovered evidence linking the troublesome trio to the robbery. Following subsequent interviews with investigators, 19 year old Brian Allen, 19 year old Marcus Taylor and 18 year old Eric Parker; all of Alexandria, Louisiana, were booked into the Shreveport City Jail where they now face charges of Second Degree Robbery. The investigation into the robbery remains active as authorities seek additional details surrounding the incident.
