Police help search for Dallas murder suspect
Local law enforcement are helping homicide detectives with the Dallas Police Department in their search for a murder suspect.
On Tuesday, Shreveport police detectives and members of the United States Marshals Task Force were contacted by homicide detectives with the Dallas Police Department in reference to locating and arresting 21-year-old Patrick Russell, who is wanted on a Dallas Count warrant for capital murder.
Russell is accused of shooting and killing two people on Sept. 5 in Dallas, Texas. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Russell also has a Caddo Parish warrant for possession of a firearm by a felon.
Russell is from Shreveport and has several addresses in the Queensborough area. He also has family around the Buncombe Road area.
Russell is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has multiple tattoos on his face, neck area, upper chest and arms. He has a tattoo under his left eye, possibly two tear drops.
