Twisted Root to offer ‘Boobie Burger’ to benefit Susan G. Komen
Available at Shreveport location through Oct. 31, burger sales will support breast cancer education, screenings and treatment
DALLAS, Texas—Twisted Root Burger Company announced a new initiative in support of Susan G. Komen Northwest Louisiana.
Naturally, the burger restaurant is pitching in the best way it knows how – by making burgers. In this case, special “Boobie Burgers” that will be available at the new Shreveport location through the month of October.
The Boobie Burger is topped with pepperjack cheese and chipotle ranch, plus two strategically placed scoops of guacamole.
In addition to being generally delicious, 10 percent of sales will go to Susan G. Komen Northwest Louisiana and help to support breast cancer education, research, screenings and treatment.
“We’re just happy to help,” said proprietor Grant Nuckolls. “Breast cancer is an ongoing battle that affects millions of women, so we’re proud to support the tireless efforts of Komen Northwest Louisiana. In addition to raising funds, we hope that our fun burger brings even more awareness of this very serious disease.”

The Boobie Burger costs $8.99 and will be available for purchase through Oct. 31 at Twisted Root, located at 8690 Line Ave.
