Operation Room Service dishes up 13 arrests


Shreveport Police Department

Last week, members of the Shreveport Police Department’s Vice Unit conducted an operation targeting prostitution in the city.

The Bossier City Police Department and the FBI Crimes Against children Task Force assisted with the operation, called “Operation Room Service.”

The operation was conducted in the 5100 block of Monkhouse Drive in Shreveport. Its purpose was to eliminate acts of prostitution that have become associated with the area.

A total of 13 people were arrested. Agents also seized approximately 1.4 grams of marijuana and $1,084.

The following people were arrested on a charge of prostitution: Beverly Jasper, 22, of 2000 Old Minden Road, Bossier City; Douglas Barker, 33, of 1017 Lawton, Magnolia, Ark.; Antone Hill, 19, of 1216 Burchett, Bossier City; Rinaudo Baker, 31, of 932

Lazywood, Shreveport; Danielle Richards, 26, of 1222 E. 34th St., Houston, Texas; Eddie Kennedy, 32, of 3837 Woodrow, Shreveport; Cinnamon Ditto, 21, of 3802 Anthony, Mesquite, Texas; Troy Walker, 39, of 2222 St. Augustine, Dallas, Texas; Khadijah Shamira Mobery, 19, of 1315 Hassett, Shreveport; Lemeisha Ruffin, 20, of 134 E. Dudley, Shreveport; Atticus Shuler, 41, of 5155 Linton Cutoff, Benton, La.; and Christopher Powell, 40, of 3106 W. Caperton, Shreveport.

Mobery was also arrested on a Caddo Sheriff’s Office warrant for simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

Detriana Baker, 23, of 627 W 62nd St., Shreveport, was charged with possession of marijuana.
