New officers enter the ranks of BCPD

 The Bossier City Police Department’s three newest members joined the ranks Monday during a swearing in ceremony held at police headquarters.

   Upon graduating later this week from Bossier Sheriff’s North Louisiana Criminal Justice Academy the new officers will enter a 5-week long departmental training program to instruct them in the policies and procedures of the Bossier City Police Department.

   Following their departmental training, the officers will spend three months riding patrol with Field Training Officers before being assigned to the patrol division.
