Sheriff Whittington promotes four Bossier deputies

Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington promoted four deputies assigned to the Bossier Sheriff’s Office Correctional Facilities to the rank of sergeant during a ceremony Monday morning. Promoted were Dennis Kinne, a nine-year veteran assigned to the Bossier Minimum Security Facility; Quinton Black, three-year veteran assigned to the Bossier Medium Security Facility; Forrest Collins, five-year veteran assigned to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility; and Clay Christian, nineyear veteran assigned to Transitional Work Facility.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED and pass a physical, background and other required tests.
