Police seeking suspect for attempted murder

PRESS RELEASE Bossier City Police Department

The Bossier City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted on a charge of attempted murder in connection with an incident earlier this week at a local apartment complex.

Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit are looking for 27-year-old Anthony Joeva Young of Bossier City for allegedly firing multiple gun shots

at another man just before noon Monday on the grounds of the Cloverdale Plaza Apartments in the 2200 block of Shed Road. Young then fled the scene in a vehicle. His intended victim was not wounded.

Young is described as a black male, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He also has a mark on the left side of his neck where it appears he had a tattoo removed.

Police consider Young to be armed and dangerous.

Bossier Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to Young’s arrest. Anyone who can help police locate the suspect is asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at 424-4100 or submit a tip on their Web site at www.bossiercrimestoppers.org.
