Man arrested with drugs across from local school

The Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant across the street from a local elementary school Tuesday and arrested one person on drug charges.

Agents went to a residence at 3811 Conway St., across the street from Claiborne Elementary, and found Renaldo Marquette Smith, 31, inside the home.

During the search, agents found approximately 150 grams of marijuana and two semiautomatic pistols, one of which was reported stolen from Bossier City.
