Social media page leads to arrests
Photos of drug use posted on a social media page has led to the arrest of a juvenile and two adults in DeSoto Parish.
The Tri-Parish Narcotics Task Force and the Directed Patrol Unit received information and photos of a 13-year-old female juvenile of Stonewall, La., posting with marijuana and smoking it. The juvenile posted the photos on her Instagram page.
The narcotics task force and the Directed Patrol Unit went to the residence and made contact with the juvenile’s mother and obtained consent to search the residence.
Agents found 56 grams of marijuana and four grams of highgrade marijuana in a makeshift clubhouse behind the residence.
Agents also located drug paraphernalia used to consume illegal narcotics and several street signs that belonged to the DeSoto Parish Police Jury.
Chad W. Lambright, 18, of Stonewall, La., was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
The 13-year-old girl was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Office of Child Protection Services was contacted in this case, and later released the juvenile to her mother after she was booked into the DeSoto Parish Detention Center.
On a follow-up investigation, the Directed Patrol Unit arrested 25-year-old David Erik Pair of Stonewall, La. He was booked into the DeSoto Parish Detention Center, where he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
