Four Arrested Inside Well-Known Drug House
Probation & Parole and Shreveport police officers have taken four men, crack cocaine and weed off the streets of Shreveport.
It happened Tuesday afternoon in the 3900 block of Baxter Street in the city's Mooretown neighborhood.
"This house has been an ongoing problem for the neighborhood," said Probation & Parole Specialist Chris Heun.
Heun says when officers knocked on the door to serve a warrant, the suspects ran to the bathroom and tried to flush the drugs.
"They thought they were going to get away with it until we dismantled the toilet," said Heun.
Jaeric Carey, Garland Head,Romel Collins and Brandon Foster have been booked into the Caddo Corrrectional Center for drug-related charges. Two of the four are currently on parole.
Authorities seized the cocaine and marijuana after taking the suspects to jail. They say the house is well-known for drug sales.
