Inmates harvest vegetables for their meals

The so-called “pea farm,” located on the grounds of the Bossier Parish Minimum Security Facility near Plain Dealing, grows a variety of vegetables that will eventually end up on inmates’ dinner plates. And the vegetables are planted and harvested by the inmates themselves.
