Cigarette thieves hitting local convenience stores

Bossier City property crimes detectives need the public’s help in identifying several suspects involved in stealing cartons of cigarettes from area Circle K's.

Over the past several weeks, multiple subjects enter the Circle K stores during the late night or early morning hours and ask the clerk to make fresh coffee. While the clerk is distracted, the suspects go behind the counter and take numerous cartons of cigarettes at a time.

The estimated value of the cartons is around $1,500.

Anyone with information or can identify the suspects is asked to contact the Bossier City Police Department or leave their tip with Bossier Crime Stoppers at 424-4100.

At this time a reward of $600 is being offered, for information that will result in the identification and arrest of the suspects.
