Man injured in shooting; police seeking suspect
Detectives are working to apprehend the person responsible for an afternoon shooting in north Shreveport that injured a local man.
Just after 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Shreveport police officers responded to the 2700 block of Jerome Lane in reference to a shooting.
When patrolmen arrived at the scene, they found the victim, identified as 26-year-old Terrance K. Jackson, who was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the foot.

Jackson was transported to University Health Center by Shreveport Fire Department personnel for treatment.
Based on information and evidence gathered during the early stages of their inquiry, investigators believe they have identified the man who shot at Jackson and are working to obtain a warrant for his arrest.
