Man Killed In Accident At Bossier Business

A tragic accident at a Bossier City business has claimed the life a 59-year old man.

It happened Wednesday afternoon at the Cactus Wellhead facility in the 4100 block of Meadow Lane.

Investigators say witnesses told them the unidentified man was helping load a large heavy piece of rounded steal used in manufacturing of oil and gas production equipment onto a flatbed trailer when the steel began to roll causing the man to fall off the trailer.  The piece of steel rolled off the trailer and onto the victim.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was employed as an independent driver for an out of state transport company.
