Bossier Sheriff's Office offers Gun Safety Class
The Bossier Sheriff’s Office provided a Handgun Safety & Familiarization course to Bossier residents Tuesday evening to help folks learn how to properly handle a weapon.
Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington, a proud supporter of the 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms, is pleased to offer the training.
“Our range instructors have a combined total of more than 100 years of firearms training experience,” Whittington said, “and I want to share that knowledge with our residents so they can feel safe and confident when it comes to handling a firearm.”
The next class will be given on April 29 from 6 – 9 p.m. and is open free of charge to Bossier residents 21 years of age and older. Call the North Louisiana Criminal Justice Academy at (318) 965-3525 to sign up.
Concealed Handgun training is also provided by the Bossier Sheriff’s Office to Bossier residents.
