Virginia College in Shreveport/Bossier City will host a Friends and Family Easter Open House for the community and former, current and prospective students on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., to be held at the campus located at 2950 E Texas Street, Suite C. While learning about the educational opportunities available to Shreveport/Bossier City-area students at Virginia College, attendees will have the opportunity to help local families in need by bringing non-perishable items to be donated to the McNeil Street Shelter. An Easter egg hunt and other activities will provide fun for the whole family.

Refreshments will be provided to guests, as well as free giveaways, and the opportunity to win door prizes. Attendees will also be able to take a tour of the campus and see demonstrations in all functional areas including medical assisting, computer networking, medical billing and coding, business administration, pharmacy technician, culinary arts and cosmetology.

This event is part of a nationwide effort taking place on 31 campuses in 15 states including Virginia College, Ecotech Institute and Golf Academy of America, all career schools owned by Education Corporation of America, to support those in need.
