The Louisiana State Police announced today the outcome of a recent multi-state, multi-agency, Crimes Against Children Patrol Operation that resulted in law enforcement officers rescuing six missing or exploited children. The patrol initiative, which was conducted April 14-16, included participants from nine states and two municipalities.

Motorists are advised that the La. 537 bridge over Posten Bayou near Plain Dealing in Bossier Parish, approximately 5.53 miles east of the junction of La. 3., is now closed for fourteen (14) days for erosion and piling repair, as well as to add another span to the bridge.
