Caddo sheriff’s deputies along with state police troopers and Shreveport police officers collected a total of 648 pounds of unused prescription drugs Saturday during the National Drug Take Back event at Sheriff’s Safety Town..
“This is a very unfortunate incident and not indicative of our school bus drivers,” said Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington. “We will not tolerate impaired driving of any type, especially when we are dealing with the safety of our children.
Upon arrival, officers observed a male victim walking down the middle of the street, bleeding from his head. Authorities learned the victim was in the 1100 block of Kings Highway, when two male suspects allegedly forced him into a dark-colored sports utility vehicle robbing him at gun point.

Agents received a tip from a concerned citizen in reference to possible narcotics activity from a residence on that street. An investigation was immediately begun, and agents determined that the suspects were growing and selling marijuana inside the residence.
