The Town of Blanchard currently has a ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages; however, the mayor wants to change that. In fact, he announced that a group of citizens are going to start circulating a petition to get an election that would ultimately allow the alcohol sales inside the city limits of Blanchard.
The employee was not injured. The suspect is described as a black male, between 18 and 25 years of age, about 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 250 pounds and was wearing a blue backpack with “Puma” on it. He also had on a dark-colored hoodie with black and gray horizontal stripes on the hood and black sweat pants.
During the ongoing investigation, authorities gathered information linking a second man to the incident. Evidence gathered at the scene of the crime, paired with other information, connected 29-year-old Antoine De marche Jackson of the 3800 block of Morrow Street to the crime.
