The trooper tried to stop the suspect for a traffic violation, but the suspect allegedly refused to stop after the trooper initiated lights and sirens. Once stopped, the trooper allegedly noticed a strong smell of alcohol coming from the suspect’s breath.

On April 17, a Shreveport police officer interviewed two co-defendants — 18-year-old Demuntae Leshun Bell of 609 Kirby Place and Jessie Ashley, 17, of 632 E. 63rd St. — who stated that 21-year-old Malik Rashon Henderson of 7130 Burlingame Blvd. performed oral and vaginal sex on the juvenile victim, and they recorded the incident.

A Shreveport police officer responded to Save A Lot Grocery at 3723 Lakeshore Drive in reference to a man taking multiple cases of meat over the course of three days. Video surveillance showed 39-year-old Christopher Deshun Moore of 1104 Homewood Drive taking cases of meat and placing them by the back door.
