Dr. Virginia Kilpatrick Shehee ’43 ‘02H, businesswoman, philanthropist, and loyal supporter of Centenary College, passed away in Shreveport on Monday, July 6. Born in Houston, Texas in 1923, Shehee was days away from celebrating her 92 nd birthday on July 12.

Edward A. Jordan, 49, of Monroe, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge James on one count of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and one count of possession of a firearm in relation to drug trafficking. He was also sentenced to five years of supervised release.

According to Mark Natale, Bossier City public information officer, Pasty Maggio was issued a summons June 22 by Bossier City police charging her with false personation for mailing fraudulent letters to several residents in the Greenacres Place neighborhood that claimed to be from the Greenacres Place Homeowners Association.
