Just after 2 p.m. Tuesday, Shreveport police were advised of an armed robbery of an individual that occurred in the 1000 block of Dalzell Street. During the incident, the victim told authorities he had agreed to meet a man who advertised he was selling a vehicle on the Facebook/ Buy/Sell Cars page.

LDAF enforcement agents re ceived a complaint from a landowner in August regarding Foster. An investigation revealed that Foster provided the landowner with false scale tickets and pocketed a portion of the actual proceeds and profit from the sale of timber.

Trey Joseph Frederick, who pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of taking a whooping crane under the Endangered Species Act in May, was sentenced by a federal magistrate in Beaumont, Texas. In addition to probation and the fine, Frederick, 19, is prohibited from possessing firearms and cannot hunt or fish in the United States for five years.
