This is not Malloy’s first theft charge. According to Bossier Clerk of Court records, in 2012 he pled guilty to misdemeanor theft and was placed on 90 days’ probation. Again in 2015, he was charged with felony theft ($750 to $5,000).

Witnesses told police that Donald Eugene Phillips, 81, of Bossier City tried to cross Jimmie Davis at the intersection of Sunflower Boulevard and was struck by an SUV traveling westbound on Jimmie Davis. Witnesses said the SUV had a green light at the intersection.
