The CVS Health Foundation Tuesday announced more than $1 million in grants to 33 free and charitable clinics, including one in Shreveport, as part of a multiyear grant program with the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (NAFC).

Poling tackles Nick Payne’s “Constellations” with a Centenary cast and crew at the Central Art Station in downtown Shreveport. The show opens at 7:30 p.m. April 21 with an additional evening performance at 2 p.m. April 22 and a 2 p.m. matinee to close the run on April 23.

The Project Pushmataha offering comprises of nine timberland tracts distributed across eastern Pushmataha County, Okla., ranging in size from 480 acres to 4,276 acres. These timberlands have operated as commercial forests for decades and continue to be a ready resource for the Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas lumber and paper markets.

— A Louisiana tax return preparer, Finecia Draper of Simmesport, La., prepares fraudulent tax returns for her customers, according to a new civil suit filed by the Justice Department. The suit, filed in federal court in Alexandria, Louisiana asks the court to permanently bar Draper from preparing federal tax returns for others.
