After a Bossier Parish District Court judge ruled against local district attorney Schuyler Marvin and granted a motion to suppress evidence in a DWI case, Marvin’s team of prosecutors appealed the decision to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, where prosecutors lost again.

In last week’s edition, we reported the fact that Glay Collier and Jacqueline Broad got a sweetheart of a deal from Bossier-Webster Parish District Attorney Schuyler Marvin after they were both arrested for a second time on domestic abuse battery charges in Bossier Parish.
The police reports obtained this week paint an entirely different picture of what the prosecutor was facing when he allowed Collier and Broad to plead down to a lesser charge of disturbing the peace. In fact, I am certainly no lawyer, but I would have hated to have been the one to have to try either of these cases.
