According to a release from Caddo District Attorney Charles Scott, blood tests of 31-year-old Krystle Delafosse, the mother of 3-year-old Sariah Delafosse, who was found dead in a child seat in the back seat of a vehicle on July 5, were negative for alcohol or drugs.
Detectives arrested 37-yearold Charles Dewayne Blue of Bossier City while conducting a surveillance operation in response to three incidents this month at Lander’s Dodge in the 2700 block of Benton Road in which someone broke into the repair shop and burglarized multiple vehicles.
The Great Raft tasting room will initially feature three flagship beers with an additional five taps devoted to a variety of one-off and specialty beers. The 2,500-square-foot tasting room seats up to 75 patrons and is part of Great Raft’s brewing operations located in Shreveport’s Fairfield Historic District.
The goal of the checkpoint is to identify and remove impaired drivers from the road before they cause injury or death to themselves or others, as well as increase public awareness to the seriousness of driving while impaired. The Bossier City Police Department and Louisiana State Police will also assist.
