Except for a few weeks that I took off in 2011 for a knee replacement, it has been my pleasure and privilege to share a few words with you in this fashion each week. By my approximation, that’s been about 350 articles and stories that I’ve tried to bring the Good News to you.

Birthdays. Remember what wonderful things they were when you were a kid? I recall the anxious waiting – my folks always acted like it was another day on the calendar until it actually got here. There were the mysterious presents and the cake my Mom always made – and is still my favorite: chocolate with a buttercream icing.
