Suspects identified in Logansport vehicle theft

One suspect apprehended with other still being sought


 The Desoto Parish Sheriff's Office and Longview, TX Police Department have recovered a vehicle that was stolen from Dairy Queen in Logansport, La.  

On May 18, 2013 Janie Ward was at Dairy Queen in Logansport when her 1991 Red GMC Sierra pick-up was stolen from the parking lot.  Authorities began investigating the matter and were able to obtain video footage from Dairy Queen showing a white male and female believed to be the suspected thieves. 

One of the suspects, William Mcfarland was identified and arrested in Longview, TX while in possession of the stolen vehicle.  The second suspect, Stephanie McDade has not been apprehended yet.  Warrants from Desoto Parish for Theft of a Motor Vehicle have been issued for both.
