AWARD WINNING FESTIVAL ACCEPTING VENDOR APPLICATIONS

Thibodeauxville Fall Festival accepting vendors

 Thibodeauxville Fall Festival, a Southeastern Tourism Society Top 20 Event and Shining Example Award winner is now accepting applications for arts, crafts and food vendors for its’ festival to be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013.

  The festival attracts about 15,000 locals and visitors from throughout the southeast and is held on the streets of historic downtown Thibodaux, Louisiana. The festival which is organized by the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce, features 200 arts and crafts booths, 24 food booths, three stages of live continuous music in addition to the Cajun Corvette Car Show, and the world famous T. Baker Smith Thibodeauxville Duck Race.  The festival is family friendly and includes activities for everyone.

My dad was a star forward playing both junior college and AAU basketball. I had the honor of being Coach Dean Smith’s first recruit at the University of North Carolina back in 1968. I was a spectator in the Louisiana Superdome when the Tar Heels won two national championships.
