Bossier Parish burn ban back in effect

Hot, dry weather in Bossier Parish has created a hazardous condition, and a burn ban has been ordered to begin immediately.

Fire chiefs in the parish agreed to ban outdoor burning until further notice, and Police Jury President Glenn Benton has signed the necessary documents to declare the ban in effect. Residents will be notified when the ban is lifted.
