Shreveport-Bossier’s signature holiday event, Rockets Over the Red Fireworks Festival, will take place on Nov. 24 at Riverview Park in Shreveport and Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets in Bossier City.

During the event, the sister cities will come together to celebrate the start of the holiday season and watch the fantastic fireworks show over the Red River.

One of the most popular annual events is Christmas in Roseland, which will be held Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Nov. 23-Dec. 16, and nightly, Dec. 17-23. During Christmas in Roseland, the Gardens of the American Rose Center are transformed into a winter wonderland featuring thousands of twinkling lights, giant Christmas cards, Christmas carolers and more.
