Officer placed on leave


 Shreveport Police Chief Willie Shaw has placed a police officer on administrative leave this morning following an allegation of possible policy violations.


Officer Justin Auzenne, hired by the department in February of 2011, was placed on paid administrative leave by Chief Shaw pending an administrative investigation into the alleged policy violations.

Initially, his law enforcement background will be questioned by many rank and file at the Shreveport Police Department (SPD). Reportedly, his service as public information officer and then head of the SPD Crime Stoppers program did not entail any supervisory or investigative activities.
