Fund-raiser to aid Young Marines

The Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs has planned a box lunch fund-raiser to benefit the Bossier Sheriff’s Young Marines program.

The event will be held on Friday, July 26, at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Home, located at 3130 Arthur Ray Teague Parkway in Bossier City, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

The lunch will include chickenand-sausage jambalaya, bread and dessert. There is a suggested donation of $10 per box. All proceeds go toward the Bossier Sheriff’s Young Marines program.
