Nine suspects arrested in narcotics operation

The Caddo/Shreveport Narcotics Unit conducted an operation in an attempt to curtail the sale and possession of illegal narcotics in various areas of Shreveport Tuesday.

Agents with the narcotics unit conducted the undercover operation in the city of Shreveport after receiving numerous complaints of open air drug sales.

During this one-day operation, undercover agents posed as drug users and dealers and arrested nine suspects for various offenses, including distribution of crack cocaine, distribution of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and firearm possession.

Agents also seized 121 grams of marijuana, seven grams of methamphetamine, 18 Lortabs, two firearms and a small amount of crack cocaine.

Two felony arrests were made in the 1100 block of Snow Street. David Broadway, 45, and Bruce Morris, 27, were both booked into CCC on a charge of distribution of schedule II drugs (cocaine).

Two felony arrests were made in the 400 block of Egan  Street. Jeremy Ellison, 27, was charged with distribution of schedule II drugs, and DaRodney Fuller, 22, was charged with distribution of schedule I drugs and possession of schedule I drugs with intent to distribute.

Charles Lawrence, 25, was arrested in the 3300 block of Youree Drive on a charge of possession of schedule III drugs with intent to distribute.

Two felony arrests were made at Stoner Avenue and Centenary Boulevard. Danny Ayon, 39, was charged with possession of schedule II drugs (meth) with intent to distribute, trigger lock, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession of schedule II drugs second offense and possession of schedule II drugs (Percocet). Brandon Salter, 27, was charged with possession of schedule II drugs (meth), trigger lock and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

Anrea Gully, 35, was arrested at Patzman and N. Allen streets on a charge of possession of schedule I drugs with intent to distribute.

Robert Dunkin, 49, was arrested at 546 Egan St. in a charge of distribution of marijuana and on a City Marshal’s office warrant for alcohol in a park.
