Robber strikes Outback on Line

 Detectives need your help in identifying and apprehending a suspect who robbed an east Shreveport restaurant early Thursday morning.

                                      

At approximately 12:40 a.m. on August 15, 2013, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Outback Steakhouse in the 8800 block of Line Avenue. Upon arrival there, investigators learned that a lone masked suspect, who was armed with what appeared to be a handgun, entered the business, confronted an employee there and demanded money. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene of the crime driving the employee’s vehicle. No one was injured during the robbery. Police recovered the vehicle stolen during the robbery, abandoned several blocks from the restaurant.  

 

The suspect in the caper was described as a medium build male of unknown race, wearing all black, with a black mask covering his face.
