Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office arrests man in theft case

A Shreveport man was arrested Tuesday in connection with the theft of a woman's credit card.

Joseph David Ebarb, 47, of the 9200 block of Dawn Ridge, was identified when the Caddo Sheriff's Office released a photo of him leaving a west Shreveport discount store after the victim's credit card was used there without her permission. An unauthorized charge for over $300 was made on the credit card November 19 just a few hours after the woman used it at a local restaurant.

Ebarb was arrested by Caddo Sheriff's Det. Frank Edmondson and booked into the Shreveport City Jail for unauthorized use of an access card.
