The training is provided free of charge and is limited to 40 applicants. Although there is no cost for the training, the sheriff’s office is asking applicants to bring canned goods or non-perishable food items for Operation Blessing.

Daughters and female siblings 14 years and older can enroll as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Participants should also wear comfortable clothing for the hands-on training.
