Man charged with attempted murder

A Caddo Parish man wanted for attempted murder was arrested last weekend in Northeast Louisiana.

Keynon Frazier, 18, was arrested by Ouachita Parish sheriff’s deputies early Saturday morning in a hotel parking lot in Monroe.

He was booked into the Cad do Correctional Center on Tuesday.

Frazier was identified as one of the men involved in a Nov. 25 shooting at a house in the 65400 block of Asbury Lane in Shreveport.

Detectives say the shooting occurred during a robbery involving drugs.

Ricky Blomgren and Vincent Efferson were both injured in the shooting and have also been arrested on related charges.

Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Donnie Laney obtained an arrest warrant charging Frazier with attempted first-degree murder.

Bond on the warrant was set at $300,000.
