Police seek suspect in armed robbery

Shreveport police are searching for a local man accused of committing an armed robbery earlier this week.

Just after 8:30 p.m. Monday, police were called to a home in the 2700 block of Sunnybrook Street in reference to a reported robbery of an individual.

Based on information and evidence gathered during an investigation into the allegations, detectives were able to produce a warrant for the arrest of a man believed to have been involved in the crime.

Authorities are currently look ing for Jequori Johnson, 24, of Shreveport, who has been named as a suspect in the armed robbery.

A warrant for his arrest has been issued with an affixed bond amount of $200,000.
