Bossier Police Jury closes North Bossier bridge

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has required the Bossier Parish Police Jury to close a bridge on Goodman Springs Road in Northern Bossier Parish. This bridge is one of three bridges owned by Bossier Parish on Goodman Springs Road and is located east of Mott Oil Field Road. It is not known at this time how long the replacement project will take to complete.

The bridge was very old and during routine inspection process, found to be in need of replacement.

The closure will not affect residents traveling to or from their homes due to the road deadending, just beyond the point.
