Suspect arrested on multiple drug charges


The Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force arrested a Bossier City man last Friday afternoon, March 14, on various drug charges following a narcotics investigation.

Lee Raines, 22, of the 3300 block of Caprizzi Lane at The Villagio Apartment Homes in Bossier City, was charged with possession of schedule I drugs (Ecstasy) with intent to distribute, possession of schedule I drugs (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of schedule IV drugs (Clonazepam) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

At Raines’s residence, agents seized a total of 666.5 Ecstasy pills with an estimated value of $20 per pills, 261 grams of marijuana, Clonazepam and $310 in cash.

Raines was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility.

The Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force was estab lished in October 2012 by Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington and Bossier City Police Chief Shane McWilliams as a combined effort to combat illegal drug activity and associated crimes all throughout Bossier Parish.
