Three people cited for selling alcohol to underage persons


An investigation into the illegal sale of alcohol to underage persons resulted in three summonses being issued.

Last Friday, June 13, the Caddo Sheriff’s Office Youth Services Division checked 32 businesses for compliance with state laws and parish ordinances. Three clerks were issued summonses for the unlawful sale of alcohol to persons under age 21.

The following people were cited: Howard Huckabee, 52, of Bethany, La., cited at H&H Grocery on Springridge Texas State Line Road in Springridge; 43- year-old ISam Samander of Shreveport, cited at Yummy Daiquiri on Colquitt Road in Keithville; and 25-year-old Justin D. Lincecum of Vivian, La., cited at Elbert’s Truck Stop on Highway 71 in Ida, La.
