Brookshire’s donates Gatorade to BSO

Several hundred quart-sized bottles of Gatorade were donated to the Bossier Sheriff’s Office by area Brookshire’s stores.

More than 400 bottles were donated by the Brookshire’s on Barksdale Boulevard in Bossier City, and another 200 bottles were donated by the Brookshire’s in Haughton last week to the Bossier Sheriff’s Office.

The donations are part of an annual campaign by area Brookshire’s grocery stores in Bossier City and Shreveport to support local first responders.

Customers purchase the bottles, and Brookshire’s staff collects the bottles and coordinates their donation to support local law enforcement agencies and fire stations.

The campaign will continue for the next few weeks.
