Shreveport Police looking for missing man

 The Shreveport Police Department needs your help to find a man who has not been seen or heard from for over a month.

Jessie Williams has been missing since Monday March 11, 2013, when he left walking from a home he shared with family members in the 1700 block of Lakeshore Drive in Shreveport.  Mr. Williams is a 52 year old black male who stands roughly six feet two inches tall, bald and weighs approximately 230 pounds. Williams was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, tan colored shoes, and blue jeans.

If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Jessie Williams, they are asked to call Missing Persons detectives at 318-673-7020 or Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.

Initially, his law enforcement background will be questioned by many rank and file at the Shreveport Police Department (SPD). Reportedly, his service as public information officer and then head of the SPD Crime Stoppers program did not entail any supervisory or investigative activities.
