Shreveport police are searching for a missing local man. Travis Hodges, 39, was reported missing by family members Sunday. He is described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds. He has brown eyes and long, black, shoulder-length dreadlocks.

According to Shreveport police, on Oct. 30, patrol officers were called to the 1000 block of Bridal Wreath Trail relative to reports of suspicious activity occurring outside the home. Inside the residence, the homeowner was able to observe, via closed circuit camera, multiple suspects in the home’s driveway attempting to burglarize cars.

Based on information and evidence gathered during their investigation, detectives procured a warrant charging 20- year-old Demarea Lee, of the 2700 block of Samford Avenue, with one count of simple burglary and one count of theft of a motor vehicle. Bond is set at $25,000.

When the complainant’s 16-year-old daughter jumped between them to break up the fight, she got cut in the hand by the knife. The cut was minor, and Shreveport Fire Department personnel were not needed. Parrish was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery and on an active city warrant for driving with a suspended license.
